I was planning a diving trip to Secrets in Cozumel where I've already been, but have found a great deal for Antigua at St James. I would arrive one day after the Antigua Yacht Week started, which is making me want to go to Antigua instead of Mexico, if only to discover a new place.

What kind of activities are there during the week? Is it fun? Worth the experience?

Hi Francis, If you are coming to Antigua any time during the Yaht Charter Show in Dec through Antigua Sailing Week at the end of April, Antigua has a ton of things to do. Even the month before and the month after. Everything from countless party's during the events and plenty of yachty workers having a good time. Antigua has all the tourist things to do from boat tours, Stingray City, Zip lines and great diving. Antigua is seriously under rated when it comes to diving. Some of the dive shops only take tourist to the shallow easy stuff. That's very good diving if that's your level. If you are experianced and can prove it with your actions some will take you to the great dives. I dive with Extreme Marine Scuba out of Engkish Harbour just about every weekend. Best on the island. Check them out on Tripadvisor. Good luck and maybe I'll see you here. John
