Only shore diving during dive shop hours - Is that always the case at AKR?

The "shore dive" is one of those advertised things at AKR that not very many people ever bother with.

The entry is distant from the dive lockers, the conditions are quite often rough, and the reef is a long way out- this is the "weather shore" and as such, the architecture is a factor of that.

AKR does have an excellent night dive area in their lagoon, unfortunately "muck diving" is very much so an acquired taste... one which I highly recommend. Under their boat dock pier is another perfect area. Not for the feignt of heart.
