Everyone,

I do not need it all spelled out ahead of time, heck we are coming in from Guatemala where we will be for a few weeks, volunteering and going to school. I assume as in Guate, there are things you can figure out ahead and things you can not. It will work out in the end, it is doesn't, it is not the end.

Diving: Ok, it is decided, I will do the Nitrox/nitrox course. I did a resort - fake one on a live aboard two years in the Maldives prior to the mantra ray dives, but that way does not count. After being a timid and air hog kind of diver, I learned air conservation, so it is not unusual for me on Bonaire to have 75 - 90 min dives on air. But then again, more energy for surface interval fun, oh that would be sweet, if true.

BTW, Roatan Man, the food on that boat was excellent. Different boat this fall though.

Food: What did you mean about vendor boats and helicopters? Confused. I understand the rest of what you each wrote.

Every time I have gone, the Maldives boats have had an all male crew (a social kind of "rule"), so the guys that had kitchen duty were relatively clueless - because I'm sure that when they were on-shore, their wives undoubtedly cooked. They were aces at rice and fish, but breakfast escaped their scope. You can only eat so much rice and fish.

We always go on non-US oriented boats, so they know what Germans go for- we must be the same, right? Trust me, no.

We made French Toast for them and fashioned syrup out of sugar and butter. Sometimes we just cooked breakfast. Oh? And if you put milk in those eggs and beat them... in a frying pan they do what? :)

One or two water-taxi type boats appear on some kind of schedule at the CCV helicopter pier. (just West of the Dive Ops) Again- ask Lobo or Liz when they are likely to show up. They sell Lobo sacks of produce for the resort- I'm sure they'll also sell you a small amount for your clan.

Breathe, relax. It will be fine. :cool2:
