Joel U. posted this already on diversions and maniladivepros list. There has been another coral vandalism incident in Anilao, specifically at bahura. A big brain coral head at the tip of Bahura was vandalized with a name "victor" something was what was written on it.

Here is a link to Joel's pics.

I personally saw this coral a week ago while diving in the area. Its sad. I wonder if this was done by a group that had a dive guide or a dive master or a just a group of morons. But two things come to mind.
(1) maybe all dives in anilao should be done with a DIVEMASTER. Apparently there are divers who are stubborn and dumb not to care so much about marine life
(2) Maybe DIVEMASTER training should be more stringent. Do away with dive guides, they do nothing more than lead dives. If this was done under the supervision of a dive guide/divemaster, there is definitely something wrong with the kind of divemasters anilao has.

Dammit!! What sick piece of crap would do something like that?! Grrrrrr.....:censored:

what makes it worse is that the vandalisms are getting more frequent. it wil only become worse if the vigilance remains passive
