I noticed a web site for a new hotel on Utila, Coral View Hotel(www.coralviewresort.com)Anyone stayed there yet?Any comments?

The Coral view hotel is not a dive resort they dont have a dive operation, but saying this they have very good shore diving infront of their hotel, they are approx one to one and a half miles from town out on their own, another place to look at is the colibri it is nice and they are affiliated with gunters dive shop there is also the Mango which is affiliated with UDC.
There are lots of places to stay on Utila apart from the hotels there are 3 resorts ,if you just arrive you have a good chance of finding good cheap accomodation but i do not know your budget, rooms from $3 per night hotels from $15 to $45 per night resorts $800 per week up but this does usually include 3 meals per day 3 or 4 dives a day and a high standard of accomodation.
