Looks like tropical storm Kyle is going to come thru FL, just in time for the weekend.

Sigh.

Yet more spring diving this Saturday. I'm beginning to miss the ocean.

Well, lessee... last night, the GFDL model had Kyle across Florida and in the Gulf by Sunday; this morning, it had Kyle in the Gulf by Saturday and threatening the Mississippi-Alabama coast by Sunday; this afternoon it has Kyle still offshore near Charleston by Monday!
Any questions?
Rick (remaining flexible on this one)

Where in Oviedo are you?

I grew up there. In Winter Springs / Sanford now.

NDBC has 5' swells up the Fla coast.Forecast to be under 10kts wind by Sat.That means little wind waves ,but E swell. We went 38 Kts out last sat with Kyle pumping swell at us .Did 25kts into'em and 35 on the way home.Ultra-clear vis on the Bear wreck and 50'+ on live bottom.Sunday looks to be the best bet ,but I'll follow Rick's lead and remain flexible.
