Another quick fin sizing question for evolution drysuit

Quick question for you jet fin divers. I just bought a pinnacle evolution drysuit with the standard size 12 boots.

I got some XL jet fins which i can not get past the ball of my foot. Would the XXL jet fin be too huge? I appreciate your recommendations on this and spring strap size. If anyone happens to be diving the same size/style boot I am I would really appreciate knowing what works best for you.
