Diva owners, I could use some of your input.
I have heard great things about the Diva, so I really want to investigate more. When I tried it on in the shop (I actually tried several sizes, and I'm pretty much a small).
The cross-your-heart style cummerbund was interesting and pretty comfy. The big thing I didn't like was the boxiness - in all three sizes I tried, the sides of the BCD extended several inches out beyond my side ribs. In the store I felt like the little brother in A Christmas Story. (Okay, and I wish they came with metal D-rings instead of plastic, but I can live with that for a good fit)
I know in the water they will fit very differently (but some shops have policies against trying them in the water). So, my question is, did some of you find that when you tried it on in the store it was awkward and you had the same big gap in the sides? But, more importantly, how does it feel in the water? Are you able to hug your arms by your sides comfortably?
Thanks
