Hello All,
I have to say, I am not new to the chat boards thing. BUT I am new to diving!!!!!! WOOHOOO! I will be taking the OW class in a few weeks and am getting all geared up! Sooooooo exciting! I'm planning to continue courses and certs until I've completed Search and rescue, then medical.
There are more than a few divers in Ohio. Oddly enough a few live on my street. (I had no idea).
Anyway, I'm pretty excited about getting into. So much so that I have offered for my 12 year old son to get certified for his b-day. Now HE'S BURSTING AT THE SEAMS!
I wish my parents were half as cool to me when I was his age!

I'm glad I found this board! I will be on often. Strange though, I was looking for Regulator prices when I came across it....... GOLDEN!

Make sure you learn the way to Gilboa quarry. You'll probably be doing your open water (and lots more) dives there.

While I didn't get scuba crazed until I moved to nyc (then nj), I hope to be able to dive in Ohio one day soon.

BTW. from what I hear, Diving in Ohio is a very rewarding experience. You just have to use a thicker wetsuit and gloves ALL YEAR! ----lol
