Thanks again for making this a comfortable place to TRY to learn about diving.
My Grandfather used to say.."Son. You Always...................... or was it never? Either way......... Thanks

I've already been able to capture some much needed advise on Regulators/ how or why they work and read a few really awsome story posts.

Now this is the kind of environment I can really DIVE into......

:jester:

Anyone going to the Ohio area AFTER the month MAY... Drop me a line, I'm sure I won't have any trouble getting my friends together for a week-end dive trip..........

I read about the picture thing in a post somewhere here... IS that like semi-required? ----lol
:boom:

Do you know where they'll be yet? I finally got weekends off at work (YAHOOO!), well, every other weekend for now and will be able to do some diving. The AOW class is doing their dives in May and I think one day or weekend is at Gilboa. I'm doing the DM work but if you're up there when we are stop by and say "HI".

I'll just post a little welcome from the western hemisphere as well - Washington.
When you get tired of the cold waters out there you can come out here and try our cool pacific ocean... Currently at a refreshingly chill 45 degrees...

Welcome from the Land of Enchantment!

I too wish my parents had exposed me to all sorts of fun activities, but then again, being the sixth of seven kids didn't help much. Held off on starting my own family (first baby due 9/10) until I had the chance to do some exploring. I figure our trip to Cancun/Cozumel next month could be the last for awhile, so I plan on enjoying it to the max!

Have fun in Coz - and a big Congratulations to you.

Ber,

I usually dive at Joe's in Louisville, but this year I am going to try to get to Gilboa at some point, Maybe I will see you there, or you could come down south sometime.

Where is Joe's? Any other sites in Kentucky? Anything with a web site? Would love to meet sometime, let me know if you get a chance to come up to Gilboa! I'm the DM for the AOW class in May; my wedding is in June and the honeymoon is in August but other than that my summer's fairly open.
Happy diving!

Joe's is outside of Louisville. There is one other quarry that I am aware of but it is in the far west and I can't remember the name of it at this time. If I can get up there I will PM you.
