Another New OW In Annapolis, MD Area

:jump013: Just recieved my P.A.D.I. OW on August 22nd at Lake Rawlings, VA. Had a great time and a great instructor.

Looking forward to getting more dives under my belt before serious winter sets in to hone my skills.

Setting my sights for doing an AOW course.

I live on the MD Eastern Shore and have been searching the area (Annapolis. MD to Dover, DE) for a local club hoping to find a patient mentor willing to tolerate an "air hoggin' newbie". Not much luck so far.

Just wanted to say "Thanks" to SB members for all the good posts that helped me through the OW anxiety.

Amazing you brought that up. I stopped by Sea Colony for the first time the other day after work to inquire about their AOW courses. I was also curious to check out his store after looking at his web site. I met John Monday for the first time. He was a real nice, stand-up guy. We chatted for about a half hour. Met his wife too. He actually took me for the "grand tour" of his shop.

I asked him if he was sponsoring a club. He is not currently doing that. Instead, he does a customer e-mailing list of coming events and I had him add my name.

I just got my AOW with Sea Coleny. They have been great. I am looking forward to the RD course next month.
