once again very nice dive conditions for late feb on the water in Monroe county. viz @ the blue hole was only average so we cruised south to dependable molasses reef(with 30+ mooring buoys, there's plenty of space, variety of sites and dependable visibility!). sunshine, light winds, seas <1 FT. 1st dive, deep buoy M28: blue water, viz 60FT, light reverse current, water temp 77F @ 50-90 FT. somewhat ho-hum dive, very quiet out there. elected to go shallow and find some fish action(reef sharks). 2nd dive, buoy M25(logans run): variable blue viz 45-70FT, no current, 78F @ 25-43FT. fish everywhere! 2 separate reef sharks, schooling grey, dog, yellowtail snappers, black/nassau groupers, jacks and chubs. the north end was active today! might attempt the duane or bibb tomorrow. timg provides the photos,,
