How strict are the people working there now about the 4:30 closing time? I'm thinking about making afternoon mid-week dives there again, but I can't get there until almost 2:30. If I make it a :45 dive or less I can just get out, but I'd rather take my time if the gate is open later.

Well, Melvin and I can sometimes make afternoon dives...so if we get stuck behind the gate, no big deal, we can climb over - good exercise! Give us a call...

If your solo only, well - I would ask the security guard for the movie set who is always there, he would know for sure! We often ask him to watch our vehicles..if you get locked behind the gate alone, you would have to throw your tank over - hope it doesn't explode... kaboom!!!!

I think there's an embedded joke in there somewhere! :-)
Scubaboard doesn't have a semi-DIR category. ;)

I think there is a embedded joke in that sentence too.
