Been bit by the bug and took my first steps this weekend. Confined dives out of the way and can't wait till August to do the OW part of my training. Commitments keep me out of the OW for a bit but will continue to work on the basics in our LDS's pool till the happy time comes to enter the water for real. Good water is kind of scarace here in tropical kansas so the thought of all the places I will get to go and the things I get (not to mention the people) to see keep me pumped up and running. Fortunatlly for me my daughter and her husband moved to Panama City Beach, FL last summer so you all know what I will be really looking forward to when we go and visit 
and seeing that they are putting to rest a new artifical reef in Pensacola (45 or so minutes from their house) makes the ole heart beat a step faster.
This board has helped to fuel my fever over the last 10 months (when i caught this disease) and I appreciate all your input and advice on how to do things right.
