I just got a new computer and SB is showing up all *stretched out* across the screen,

what does that mean? (so is everything else, :11doh:)

Wide Screen monitor perhaps.

So?

what does that mean?

Can I change a setting?

Come on, Jeff, use your words, I count on you.

(I have tech diver pics of the Paris Fire Department doing rescue training in the Seinne River......I know you want to see those....)

Catherine, you probably have your display settings set up for a standard width screen (and *have* a wide-screen)... or, vice-versa...

Right click on the desktop... anywhere... hit Personalize (Vista), or Properties (XP). Click on Display Settings...

Try a lower (or higher) resolution setting until everything appears properly.

If that doesn't work, send me $150 for my next guess...

that is just max and min thouugh....won't let me resize. I see *size* as a choice...is this a right click thing?

see attached

After clicking the button. Click (and hold) corner of window and resize it.

thanks BKP. That fixed me right up.

Just for that, Jeff, I won't be sharing my manly man tech bright red wetsuit pics.

You'll just have to lurk in the Kayla's hot man thread and beg me for details.

Now...I would like a big avatar, like Rick Inman has.

Do I need to be a supporting member again for that?

BTW...I know I'm smarter than you Letter-boy. So...don't be telling blonde jokes in the tech support forum.
...I'm smart enough not to be in Iraq, according to John Kerry, he he.

But, I would really appreciate any tips on a bigger avatar, being the attention seeker, I am.

...and smart enough not to be at work right now you cubicle freaks.

Registered members can use an avatar with the following dimensions: 100x100. Supporting Members can use one that's 125x125.

BTW, all off-topic posts have been removed from this thread.

well, I just tried to pay you and it said *invalid currency selected*...so I guess I need tech support for that too.

Not everyone is a computer wiz, ya know.
