Yes folks, I'm going for another cert. I am working on my Rescue Cert. Since my wife is an Instructor now, I figured it was the best time to do it. Don't you all think that it will be easy though. I know my wife and she is very passionate about her instruction and she will not cut any corners. The fact that I am her husband means I will be put to the test. She will not let me just slide by. I will definitely have to work for this one. I know that when it is said and done, I will be a well rounded and knowledgeable Rescue Diver. I wouldn't have it any other way.

My wife is a great instructor and I can't wait to learn everything she has to offer. If all instructors were as passionate and dedicated as my wife, this sport would go to another level. I'm not saying there are not other good instructors, but we all know of a few poor instructors and even some dangerous ones. I know my wife will set new standards of diving in our area, and maybe in others. Anyone would be blessed to be taught by Baitedstorm.......!!:07:

Oh Murph! I think you're going to have your work cut out for you in this class! I think that the classes where I've known the insturctor were the hardest because they expect more out of you. When someone is diving with you on a regular basis, they know your strengths and weaknesses and will put you to the test. It should be a lot of fun, but don't be surprised if you feel like you're in boot camp during the test.

Best of luck!

Sounds like you will hve your work cut out for you. I'm sure she will make sure you get it all right before she let's you get your cert. By the same token, don't you think it is a bit of a conflict of interest by sleeping with the instructor? :11:

Good luck

Definately going to have your work cut out for you. I did my DM course with my girlfriend who is now my wife; Very tough and a couple of issues:-) apparently I'm not such a good student in the classroom. Seem to have a wondering attention span.

Also the other DM candidate was terrible so it was even tougher for me as she didn't want to be seen to be having favourites.

(The other DM was never on time, was usually missing dive gear needed for the dive and never completed any of the knowledge development. She finally had to send him away with no DM cert due to bad attitude and no time to work further with him due to his leaving South Africa)

Good Luck
