Welcome to the board Cloggy .... I am from the city where your Queen Beatrix was born (Ottawa) so we have a bit of beautiful Holland here in Canada.

The board has great chats, great info, and great people.. Enjoy

Tot ziens for now....

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Enjoy your new addiction! You'll like having your own gear.

Have a good time in Egypt. Don't forget to post a trip report when you get back. I'm sure we'll be hearing plenty about it before you go in October though! ;)

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all
the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

Lovely country you live in, or at least it was last time I was there. Ever been to Texas?

Anyway - Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue: Look around our various forums - everything from New-To-Scuba to Instructors-Only to Dive Medicine.

I spread my first 3 cards out more, but I'm starting to think that doing them together is a good idea. Beyond that, experience counts more than cards, to me.

That's a warm welcome! I did my diving on Koh Tao with Phoenix Divers. Smallish diveschool, but very nice staff. Did the whole certification in about 9 days, including some extra fun dives.

El Orans: I'm from Alphen a/d Rijn, not too far from where you live I see.

Never been to Texas, have been to LA and Vegas though. Any nice diving off the Texas coast?

A report of my trip a definitely follow!

Back to the manual of my new divingcomputer now .... :)

Hi all,

Well, the title says it all... I'm from the western part of Holland, did my first dive in March when I was in Thailand (Koh Tao) and completed my open Water, Advanced, Deep Diver and Nitrox. So got totally hooked, one more addiction, thanx ;)

Just bought my own gear so will be doing some (cold water, brrrrr) diving here locally before I get into the plane for my next holiday: 1 week diving in Dahab, Egypt in October.

Hope to learn a lot from y'all!

Greetz,
Cloggy

Hello from Matt,

Welcome to SB! :1poke: I came here to look for help with my scuba diving dream and the response has been fantastic. So, I know you will enjoy being a member here.
There are a lot of nice and informative scuba divers. It's a good place to meet other divers and share experiences and dreams. Take care from Matt. :snorkels:
