Anyone on the board familiar with this dive operation? I might be headed to Ft. Lauderdale and was researching dive ops. What I like about this operation is that they limit the passengers to 6 and provide a free DM on every dive.....very rare for Florida. The only other place in FLA that I know of that does that is Paradise Charters in Key Largo. Would like to know if anyone used them before and what their experience was. Thanks.

I didn't know that a DM on the boat in Florida was rare, I've never been on a charter down here that doesn't have them.

You might want to check out Parrot Island Scuba (not a 6 pack, but not jammed with divers either) and also Brownie's is running a boat out of the back of their shop.

What I meant was that it's rare to have a DM in the water with you in florida. Believe me, I've called many. Although anchor scuba's web site says they do have guided dives, after calling I was informed that "it's an old website." So much for guided dives. I've decided to go with prodive. For an extra 15.00 not only do I get a DM, but he or she will be strictly assigned to me. This is important to me right now because I'm new to this and would be more comfy at this point. Also i will be diving with new gear that I won't have an opportunity to try in the pool. It will be nice to have a DM to help me tweak my bc if it needs it. It will be a back inflate.

Some of us would not consider this a benefit....

Pretty much any shop offers the service, it just costs a few bucks. Luckily none make it mandatory like Caribbean operators often do.
