I am a right below knee amputee (RBK). I love snorkeling and freediving, and have a swim leg that I made myself, to let me wear fins at the normal 70º plantar flexion. However, this is a water only leg and I have to switch back to my walking foot when I exit the water. This can be fun in the surf.

I am looking at the Activankle by Rampro, and was wonderting if anyone here had any info on them, used them, etc.? My wife and I, as well as our son, are spending 10 days down in the Keys in June to finally get our certs finished up and spend the rest of the week diving, so I am looking for more of an all around swim system, that hopefully allows me to walk on it.

Just saw this. Wondering if you're still diving and what you're using now for a swim leg.

I have the FreeStyle swim ankle

I used to have the Active Ankle and in comparison that thing was a piece of garbage. The FreeStyle is much easier to disengage and switch from dorsiflexion to plantarflexion.

I'm a L-BKA... been diving just short of a year now but try to get out at least 1-3x a week.

I need a tune-up on my leg. I've been getting a lot of water in it and am hoping to find a better suspension/interface that doesn't have fabric that absorbs water and will give a better seal, not allowing water in my my socket. I might have a leak in the socket itself, possibly the expulsion valve has a small leak. Not 100% sure yet. More annoying than anything else.
