Hello,

Does anyone have recommendation on which dive operator to use for either area. Also any recommendation on where to stay in Nusa Lembongan?

Thanks:blinking:

World-Diving on Nusa Lembongan. They are a 5-Star Padi center. They also have accommodations (but are somewhat basic, as are a lot of options on Lembongan). I dove with them in May 2005. They have an informative website- just google them.

Bali Hai Adventures has operations both on N. Lembongan (Hai Tide Huts) and at Tulamben (near Amed), so you could book both areas with one op. Their main web address is http://www.balihaicruises.com/diving-adventures.html They also run the dive center at Scuba Seraya http://www.scubaseraya.com/ Sea Star, when are you going? It will be mola season soon, and Michael, the Bali Hai owner, works closely with documentary filmmakers and is very knowledgeable.

The Hai Tide Huts are very nice. I stayed there in 2000. They are individual thatched huts on stilts. Very comfortable. The food there was delicious. The diving is right in front of the resort, although you will still need a boat.

I LOVED Blue Corner. I was determined to dive there after reading the narrative in the Bali dive guide. The first line is "DON"T TRY THIS AT HOME!". It describes the incredible currents (straight, upwelling, and down currents). I knew it was going to be something when we arrived at the put-in and saw the area full of huge boils in the water. The first dive was scarey, the second-amazing.

You will have a great time.
