I’m not a fan of Hog wings to be honest. The center panel is way to wide and the outer diameter of the wing is rediculously wider still. It tends to flop. I’m into the newer super narrow streamlined designs.

Thanks @Eric Sedletzky for the comprehensive answer. To be honest right back, I haven't invested much time in understanding the differences in wing design, particularly wings used with single tank rec diving. But since I just bought an AL FP, and I have both the HOG wings and a VDH wing, I will start from your reply above, put the various alternatives alongside each other, and learn something. I bought the VDH wing because I put together a double hose rig (for my VDH rebuilt Royal Aquamaster that I bought in 1969), and I have just left that wing on that rig.

I will put it all together when the new aluminum freedom plate arrives next week!
