How is this plate built any better than a Dive Rite or any other brand? Also why do they not make them any more? :dontknow:

seems to be a common theme anyways for answering any type of thread so I reckon selling your blood for free hurts
 
How much is the OP willing to spend? $$$$ Anything can be had/made for the right price. ZKY can make most anything for the right price, but it is going to be waaaay more than most would be willing to spend.

I have one of the original plates, which were stainless with wider sides, that I modified to work with a Mach V wing which wasn't invented when my plate was originally built. The Freedom Plate is my go to plate for single tank diving both cold and warm water. I poured a heavy lead wedge for cold water diving to lighten my weight belt. Currently owning three plates, and having used Dive Rite and H plates, the Freedom Plate blows them out of the water for comfort...at least for me.
