Alternative to Aquatica Lanyard Mounts

Hi, I'm looking for a good way to attach my lanyard to my camera tray and came across these:

which are pretty much what I really want but they are like $40 ea. which I feel is ridiculous! Have been searching and can't seem to find an alternative. Anyone know of similar type brackets from other brands?

for an idea. Depends on what housing you have but basically a stainless steel shackle around a traditional ball

I just use a DIY paracord lanyard that attaches by 2 x 316 stainless bow shackles that go under the 1" ball mounts.
