Has anyone by chance tried using this Li battery in the Intova dive lights?

Ultrafire 18650 BUTTON TOP Protected Rechargeable Lithium Battery UF18650

It would only provide 3.6V versus the 6.0V the 2xCR123A batteries would provide, but apparrently this batter works for some other 2xCR123A lights:

ULTRAFIRE WF501B with Cree XRE-7090 LED. 125+ Lumens!

I guess it's a matter of what sort of voltage regulation is built into the Intova light.

Any thoughts?

Bob

Give Edd Sorenson at Cave Adventurers a call. Edd has sold a ton of these, and has tried different manufacturers batteries in the units. He may also have tried different battery types. Check out his website caveadventurers.com - Home
