Hello from the frozen waistlands of upstate NY. I discovered this SB sight yesterday while researching prescription masks. Thought I'd check out your forum. I'm newer to computers than to diving, and I'm no expert at that, so please bear with me. I do have two questions that some one might be able to help with. First I'm looking into prescription diving masks and especially bi focal prescription. Has anyone any suggestions or cautions? Second, I am planning a trip to Belize this March. Has anyone any input on the Hamanisi Resort. Thanks, Jim.

Welcome to the board!
I wear bifocal masks. If you need them get them. No sense in missing anything!

No experience needed and it feels great!

Hi gypsyjim,

Welcome to the 'Board. I suggest you have a look in the Masks section - there has been quite a lot said about bifocal masks and products like DiveOptix (stick-on correction lenses). If you can't find what you are looking for - ask away. Your question will probably not be noticed by the right people if it is in the introductions forum.

Cheers,

Andrew
