My last trip in July we stayed at the Grand Park Royal and although I didn't do the shore dive everyone else the last night we were there, they all said it was great! Saw lots of critters for a 20 ft dive. Think it cost us about $7 for a cab ride from there to the ferry landing. And Ernesto's across the street has great food and rents Jeeps, too, for when you're not diving. We paid $75/day for a Jeep. Nice quaint little beach, nice pools, nice hotel. Would definitely stay there again!

+1. We just spent 7 nights at Blue Angel and ate every meal at their restaurant. The free breakfast served 6 to 11:30 is a made to order and is a full breakfast - everything on the menu. Everything was yum yum yum with a fantastic staff. Happy Hour is 4-6 :)
Water is included - there is bottled water on every floor.

Plus you can pretend it's AI and go cash free during your trip by putting everything (including tips) on your room number and then settling up all at once at checkout. You'll sign for each charge and get a receipt, and at checkout you'll get a printout listing date, time, and amount of each charge for your review.

The happy hour is great. 4pm-6:30pm. 2 for 1 on drinks and 2 for $10 appetizers. The appies are tasty and come in generous portions and served as "dinner" for us a couple of nights.
