Has anyone dived the Alexandria at the Scarborough Bluffs?
Is it worth the effort to get permission to dive this area?

I believe SOS Toronto is in survey mode for this wreck, being headed by the Scarborough Underwater Club, may be a start for you.

They also reported they have located the deeper part of the wreck.

Thanks Tom.
I've fired off a couple of emails to them. It'd be nice to have another wreck to dive out this way.

I snorkel out to this wreck all the time, permit, permission not required.

Amobeus, what do you see when you snorkel out to the Alexandria? is it a worthwhile wreck to dive on?

It kind of reminds me of diving Toby these days with plenty of brocken boards and the outline of what was a boat, with its steam boiler and shaft to examine. Over all it makes for a nice sunny shallow afternoon dive.
