Thanks guys for all your help. I talked to my local shop who returned my Aladin Tec unit to Scubapro for problem analysis. The report returned to the shop was that the Infrared(RR) unit had stopped functioning. The shop indicated they had never seen this type of problem before.
Thanks to the fantastic customer service of the shop and presumably Scubapro themselves I am now in possession of a new and upgraded version of the Aladin Tec. Turn around time 2 weeks, not bad eh! They were unable to retrieve my logged dives.
So bottom line is, there was a problem with the Aladin Tec infrared unit that was diagnosed by the manufactures that resulted in a replacement unit being sent out under warranty.
