Kev, thanks. Appreciate the photo and inputs. Question, I would assume that with double AL80s, you'd be head heavy due to the manifold and regs. Wouldn't tail weights be the trimming factor to be horizontal?
Head heavy with AL80's --and a Drysuit. Even just a small amount of suit air inflation to offset squeeze makes my hips & legs "floaty". (The 5lbs tail weight does help to trim out level & horizontal).

With a thin tropical wetsuit/skinsuit however, the weight pouch with 5 to 6lbs moves up to between my shoulder blades.

I would just add that an AL80 is around 6lbs positive when empty and w/out a valve. Add the valve in and you're still talking +4lbs each. The manifold and bands are probably 5lbs, so you may want a little extra weight just in case things go south and you breath them down beyond what you plan. You still want to be able to hold a deco stop.

2. Planning to use my existing Apeks FSR on right post and get an inexpensive Apeks DS4 for the left post. Does this make sense? Am I better off just getting 2 DS4's? Trying to avoid new expenses but willing to do what's best.
DST with 5th port on left post should provide better routing for the Octo.
