I tried on an akona 6.5mm two piece at the LDS, to check my size.
It fit pretty good, but the forearms/wrists were just too big.
I think the two piece 6.5 is more suit than I need, but it was the only XL they had.
do the regular full suits fit about the same or is there a difference in cut since the thinner suits are more flexible?

Right now I'm shopping for a 3mm fullsuit.

Right now, a scubapro suit fits me excellently, it's pricy, but probably worth it for the fit.

A suit that doesn't fit is worthless. Even if the suit fits not all wet suits are created equal.

I tried out a 3mm pacific and another all black scubapro, that wasn't an stek. The steks run about $60 more according to my lds.
