Just wondering if
a.)Looks like on the website its only one carry on? Do they stick to this?
b.) Do they weigh your carry on to make sure it falls in line with their policy?
Thanks

I had my carry-on weighed at check-in, but they didn't care about the (big) dSLR around my neck and the ~10 lbs of camera stuff stuffed in my pockets... Naturally, I just re-arranged this stuff after we got to the gate. I was weighed again for our inter-island flight, but they were only concerned about the plane's total weight, not how much was in my carry-on.

50% of the time they weighed my backpack.
The other 50% I wished I'd brought more to read and more to eat.

Everyone in our group had a carryon and a personal item (very large in some cases! as there were lots of photographers). No one had problem for the US/Nadi or Nadi/Honiara flights.

I was in Fiji the week before meeting the group. Pacific Sun weren't picky either. However, when I tried to get through airport security the guard stopped me on my first attempt. He picked up my wheelie bag and told me it was too heavy and to go back to Air Pacific counter.

I politely explained to the Air Pacific customer service rep what had happened andt that I really needed to carry on everything in my suitcase. She asked if I could split things into 3 bags to get through security (my thought as well). So I pulled out my reg case put a few more things in it and then went through security!

We flew to Fiji in November. They weighed my carry-on at the check-in counter at LAX and made me move some stuff to my "personal item." When we flew from Taveuni to Suva, they weighed all of our bags and some people ended up paying an overweight bag fee.

When we were leaving Nadi to fly home, a security guard stopped one of the people in our group and asked her how much her carry-on weighed.
