I am looking for ANY user feedback on the Apollo-micro and or Apollo-Bio filters. We are going to be diving for two weeks in FIJI this summer and was wondering about the good or bad idea of utilizing an air filter in the line. Apollo has two according to the web site. A "Micro" - filters air only, and the "Bio" - filters air and adds moisture. We dive with Scuba Pro S600 regs, so we do not have the option of metal regulators. The wife has asthma, so looking for any possible preemptive strike that will assist in reducing the risk of an attack while diving.

Thanks

My dad and I both have the Apollo-bio filters on our regs. They certainly do add water, and if you are making multiple dives, they do make the dives more comfortable, as well as keeping you hydrated, which is good since dehydration increases the chance of taking a DCS hit.
