I just got a new agir knife; after 6 dives it started to rust. i usually wash it after one day of diving.

What can i do to prevent it to rust?
What can i do with the rusting any chemicals to undo?

To prevent rust, coat the blade with a very thin layer of silicone "grease" (the stuff used for o-rings) before diving.

To remove rust, I usually rub it off with gun oil and some rough cloth.

Thnx;

Gun Oil where can you get that??
Sorry about that am not from the US so i dont get it

I'm not from the US either. :D

If it is stainless and light surface rust, take a lemon or a lime, slice it in half and rub it on the knife-the acidity of the juice and the scrubbing power of the pulp should clean it.

I will give that a try and c ...
