Well, the wife just won her first photo contest. First prize digital, shot it with a 5050 in a tetra housing w nikonos strobe. Now the only question is how to get there from here. Miami to Palau is one long haul, so much here in the Carribean, would hate to travel that far and be disappointed. Photo is on www.aggressor.com site under photo contest. John

COngrats! I just got off the T&C Aggressor with the woman who won that category last year, she got T&C, but not Palau :(. Sweet prize.

Ummm, disappointed in Palau?? Yes, it's a long way even from here (Cal.) but methinks you will be spoiled and, when you return to the Caribbean a little shocked at how different it is. Palau has rightly earned the distinction as one of the top 3 or 4 spots to dive in the world. If you are already going to Palau (with one free boat ride), do yourself a favor and add a Yap and/or Truk week.

Once you go Pacific, you never got back

The Palau Aggressor is a particularly good operation with an above average crew. If you are a photographer, try to schedule when Doug Sloss is divemastering (see the Grand Prize photo of the Scuba Diver Magazine 2005 Photo Contest in the April issue). He is a truely talented underwater photographer/videographer.

You would probably want to layover a day in Hawaii if coming from the East coast or have an extra day on arrival to recuperate before diving.

Palau is an awesome place, however.........Dougie is no longer on the Aggressor. Yes, i am sad to be the one to break it to the world.

Thats alright, watch out for his name in more and more publications as we are now advancing our grand plan to take over the world of professional underwater photography... :eyebrow:
