I am so sad about Buzzards ........... :( Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions, although Margaritas are always good. That being said, I hate the parking issues around the Cannery area.

maybe El Torito? they have a large parking lot and the margaritas don't suck. if there are enough people, we may be able to get one of the small rooms there.

The margaritas may not suck, but the food does. It tastes like microwaved TV dinners.

Does Chevy's in Carmel have a back room? It's not genuine Mexican, but it's good.

I like Jose's in Seaside but I don't think they have the room.

After a few margaritas do you really care?

heh... I always thought that way about Chevy's, while liking the food at El Torito. Maybe the two restaurants have a little role reversal thing going on up here in the East Bay.

I am fine with whatever. I do know that El Torito gets pretty crowded on weekends, but maybe we would be ahead of any crowds? I prefer Chevys, but that's just me. If we are already down that way b/c we are at Lobos, would be a good try, IMHO.

Actually the back room is still available thru the Travel Lodge. But still there would be no food.
The lack of food and drink is a bit of a problem.

Actually I like el torito's food. After all its convenient, and they have margarita's.:thumb:
