Nice find. Been looking at M3 Stuart tank pictures and Japanese tanks. I think it might be a tractor, but this conclusion is just by looking at these pictures. How were Japanese tanks dumped there?

After a bit of research I couldn't find any Japanese tanks with a spoked drive wheel. The M # Stuart does have a spoked wheel but it appears to have less spokes than the underwater find. Also there are no " bogies "or follower wheels visible in the photos. There is a long bar between the front and rear large wheels visible which is indicative of a tractor. Could be a tractor.
