i had a buddy recently go to cozumel and he got the bends, well after a helicopter trip and sitting in a chamber for a while decided to give up diving. Well he gave me his dive computer it is an Aeris a100s, I contacted aeris and they said that they couldn't give me information on it because it was discontiued 3yrs ago. Any body have one or know anything about it??

Did your buddy get the bends while using that computer? :11:

know that ask I'll check real quick.
Yep, It is still logged on there too. He was definetly down for too long. So I guess it works huh. Bad way to find out that your computer actually works. He is ok now. Still freaked out about blowing bubbles again though.

Well I know he made four dives, but while I was going through it, the battery died and I replaced it but it reset everything so I have no clue. But I used it in conjuction a mechanical depth and my watch. it is right on. It work but I know it has more features but I don't know the sequence of buttons to push to get them. I stumbled upon them before but remember how I did it :06: CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME, PLEASE????? I need a manual.

The Aeris is one of those made by Pelagic (sp?) which is owned by Oceanic. They are all pretty much the same with minor differences but the same features and if you compare the user manuals they read almost word per word the same with some exceptions. Look on the sherwod or oceanoic web sites for downloadable user manual.

If yours is like the Sherwood "logic" I can help you. Mine has just one button and is about the same age and is the same diaametr as a standard SPG.
