I'm upgrading equipment and would like some opinions on the Sony Alpha NEX-5 camera. I want to stay with a 4/3 camera size, and I have my choices narrowed down to the Olympus PEN E-LP2 and the Sony. Any thoughts on the Sony? Does it TTL sync to Sea and Sea YS-01's? Since I have two of them, I'd like to use them on my next camera...

Thanks!

Wow, Quite a question. I'm surprised you haven't gotten any answers. FWI I bought the Nex 5 because I wanted a camera that had most of the high end dslr features, was lightweight, and had a pro housing available for it with ports, etc.. I've got the 18-55 kit lens, Nauticam housing, and the 16mm pancake with both the wide angle and the fisheye adapters. Bottom line is that I really enjoy it and am very pleased with my initial results.

Having said all of this I'm sure you can get a wide range of recommendations on other cameras also. If the strobes can take a fiber optic cable you can use the strobes with the camera.

Might want to read Phil Rudin's article also. http://www.uwpmag.com/subscribe/down...e.php?issue=57
