Advice on Sherwood SR1 Reg

Hello,

I just purchased this one and notice that there is a vibrating noise from the second stage when I breathe from it. Haven't used it yet, but the salesperson said it was normal. Does that sound right?

That's normal. Once you get it in water there will be no regulator "farts". The SR1 is a sweet high-performance reg and you shouldn't have any problems with it.

I only dove the SR1 a couple of times and had no problems, but before you buy it you might want to go down to the Sherwood sub-forum in the manufacturers forum.
