Wondering if you guys could give me some local advice. My wife and I will be in Key West for 2 days in Sept, coming in on a cruise ship. I would like to spend one morning flats fishing and do at least one or two dives before leaving.

What would you recommend as far as diving goes, we are both certified with about 15 dives so far. Looking for the most fun without spending a lot of time travelling to and from the dive shop or the dive site so we can maximize our short time in Key West.

Thanks,
Mike

I would recommend Alexander's Wreck and Joe's tug. Both easy wreck dives. Also almost any Florida keys reef lies in 20 to 40 feet of water so all are easily accessible to any diver.

Cap't Jim runs a few 6 pack boats from M.M 21 and you will not be disappointed. Be sure to read his guestbook.

When I last went diving with him, he told us to make sure we came back with 500 psi and no time limit. but we were diving under 30 feet. He does not rush you like the cattle boats.

Let us know how it goes and send out a trip report for us to read

Dan
