No worries! Should have mentioned Giant Stride.

With the wind do you think it will be too murky?

Since things have been stirred up, I would expect most dive sites around here are going to have less than optimal visibility. But, I've never dived Kings Beach so really can't give any meaningful guidance.

I decided to pass today.

According to Marine Weather Underground the seas in RI sound were about 2 ft today. It'll clear up in a day if that's all there is.

That's a nice resource right there... I plan to dive King's Beach on Monday - 5kt winds and 1' or less wave ht, sounds good to me! I hope the vis is where it should be at that site, I'm so excited.

Give us a dive report, OK. Don't know if it rained in Newport, but we had a steady rain here (Wakefield) from 5PM - 7PM. Was probably a dark dive though I don’t remember it being deeper than 25 feet when I went.

Probably going to try an afternoon/evening dive on Tuesday just to get used to my drysuit. Let me know if you're interested. Newport area

Oh yeah, that, Google Earth, USHARBOR and Accuweather are my dive planning tools. By the way Kings Beach: it's South going out North to get back. Incoming tide will push you East out going will push you West. So if the tide is incoming start the dive in SSW or WSW the opposite on the outgoing. This way you can drift back to the egress. Have a good and safe dive, and yes we expect a report, advice isn't free! :)
