We (Weavers Dive Shop in Boulder) have scheduled two classes in the new Advanced Recreational Program, and we are also planning a trip to the Blue Hole and Rock Lake.
Tec/Rec Specialty
This class is similar in content to GUE Fundamentals, focusing on buoyancy and trim as well as advanced finning methods. The classroom session is scheduled for Wednesday evening April 10, from 6-9 in Boulder. It is possible to do the work online, though. The pool sessions will be Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14, also in Boulder.
Advanced Dive Planning
This is a very comprehensive course teaching just about anything you need to know to plan safe and effective dives without any supervision. It includes gas management and many other aspects of dive planning--possibly more than you thought existed.
Rock Lake/Blue Hole trips
We have tentatively scheduled our first training session in Santa Rosa, using both the Blue Hole and Rock Lake, for the weekend of April 17. We will be teaching a variety of classes during that time--it will not be just the two above.
