Having difficulty holding safety stops or want to have pinpoint accurate buoyancy control? This course takes buoyancy to another level. This course goes beyond the basics and focuses on improvement. We'll spend two days doing land and in-water drills (mostly in-water). Why two days when everyone else is only one day or less? It boils down to practice. Rarely will you show much improvement after only 4-8 hours of class time. I've come up with a series of drills that build upon previous skills to show your improvement. Other tangibles for the course include propulsion techniques (frog and backward kicks), trim and gas management. All dives are recorded on video. The video review/playback is a critical step into seeing what you are doing wrong in order to correct it and improve.

Details for the class:
Dates: July 9 & 10
Location: Haigh Quarry in Kankakee, IL
