Is the advanced nitrox class like the basic nitrox class. Does it require dives, or is it taught with other courses such as decompression?

Benefits of registering include
"Advanced Nitrox" is probably the poorest named course in Scuba. It should be renamed something like "a look at technical diving principles" or "what the Advanced Diving course oughta be" or something like that. My Advanced Nitrox class requires 6 classroom sessions, two pool sessions, a full day's practice in open water and four evaluation dives, which are done over two days. You have to have a minimum of two regulators, redundant gas, lift bag, spool/reel etc... You must demonstrate good trim and be able do conduct deco stops without aids like lines.wheelietaco:Is the advanced nitrox class like the basic nitrox class.
