ads on SB...this was rather funny, and perhaps a bit unfortunate

I saw a diversdiscount.com ad right next to the leisurepro ad....at the top of the page.

I wonder if either knows that their competitor was listed right next to them...heh

they've done their job though...I remembered both of them. :)

I think that its absolutely delicious that the Internet Scuba Shops are finally getting some "airtime" here, beyond consumer testimonials.

The LDSs had better wake up and start putting the heat on the manufacturers, and drop the price-fixing conspiracy...... or they will be toast!

Happy New Year LDSs! :)

I'm just wondering if the staff is willing to promise to prevent ads that:

1. Create Popups
2. Create animations over actual data
3. Make noise

Creators/enablers of forms of advertisments should be strung up by their toenails. Otherwise though, the ads are a great way to fund the site.

Yeah, right...

Let's see, the last business I did with DiversDiscount.com occured when I purchased an HP120 single that showed up rusty. Notwithstanding their so-called guarantee, I had to ship it back at my expense, then fight with them to return my money.

However, the fact that they've now got annoying ads on this Board is more than sufficient to overcome their prior problems. Where do I sign up?

Phew, I was beginning to think that Karl had given up on the LDS beatings....now I can safely enter '04!

A good LDS provides A LOT MORE than just equipment. You're willing to trade away service but I'm not. And I'd be willing to wager a lot of other people here would agree with me.

It appears that you can either get a image at the top (or bottom) of the page or a "sticky" post in a forum. I don't think you have to worry about anything on your list.
