Was certified in the late eighties by ACUC. Haven't been in the water for a long time and would want to re-certify for sure! Is ACUC a legitimate organization still? What would be the most widely recognized with integrity behind the license? Thanks, Fraze

The most widely recognized is PADI by far. Now having said that, my last 3 certs have been ACUC. Partially because the head office is in my hometown, and partially because I reviewed the material and felt the ACUC material was much more complete.

Nope. Where is PADI recognized that doesn't recognize NAUI, SSI or many others? PADI is the largest by far, but it is not more widely recognized than other agencies.
