acomodation in Ranong

I have seen that there are a few cheap live aboards for the Similans going out of Ranong (Alladin and A-1) and I was wondering if anyone can give me any nice cheap hotel names for places in Ranong closeish to where the boats leave from.

Actually the best choice is to contact the dive centers. Alladin has a resort on Koh Chang (just offshore from Ranong), and A-one can sort it out for you.

There is a pretty cool option nearby...there is a pretty big natural hot spring just outside Ranong, and you can actually get a cheap hostel/hotel where the waters feed the showers and make for a pretty cool (no pun....well...just a little) stopping or starting point.
