When your wife used the online service, how did she find Bonaire? Was it just Bonaire? Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba? Netherlands Antilles?
It was Dutch Netherlands Antilles, Bonaire.

I'll bring a grand in cash ( I feel naked without cash on hand) and use my bank of america travel card.. Points and no transaction fees... Use the card for everything on Bonaire..

Make sure the card you use doesn't charge the transaction fee's.. They add up fast..

Jim...

My recommendation may not be the easiest way, but it will likely give you the end result you are looking for.

Set some time aside and book an appointment with one of the staff at your bank (credit union). Sit down with them for a few minutes and explain both your travel plans and the trouble that you have had trying to advise your credit card company on the phone/online to them. Do not leave until you are satisfied.

Or just bang your head against your desk for a few minutes and save yourself some time ;)
