I have also been looking at the ACB weight pockets and am a little concerned about the difficulty in dropping the weight. With the clip style closure and thick gloves the weight could be difficult to drop. I would like to try a set of the weight pockets, however none of the LDS carry the pockets for me to try. My suggestion would be to find someone that has them and try them for a day!

How much weight do you want to be able to drop? If you are diving with a shell dry suit I would think that 10 lbs would be plenty of ditchable weight.

The Ext. Exposure site/company will let you buy the products and then return them no questions asked, even used, in a month if you like. I want to try the BP/Wings and they said shipping would be 15 bucks for them and UPS says 15 bucks back if I want. $30 is not bad to try it out and see if I like it, you can try it with the weights also if you want.
