ABWA - 2nd Annual Feb Dive.

I just received a reply back from ABWA. They are looking forward to seeing us there Feb 2 and they said the night dive might be possible. They'd just like to know how many people will attend.

I'm not sure whether one or two of my buddies around here will be there. One is a newbie (October) who still hasn't bought enough gear to be able to use all my extras, and the other has not yet ordered her drysuit. I don't think she'll be diving Blue Water wet -- she remembers the chill in the water from *summer*. :biggrin:

Anyway, is night diving at Blue Water just a later exit time, or is it more rigid? I've seen places that have an everyone out time and then later let the night divers back in, but most places have just been extended hours. There may or may not be much difference, but if I'm going to do a night dive before driving overnight to get home for the Superbowl, it's nice to know just what to expect.

Well, the sites indicates that they are open from 9AM till Sunset. I can only assume that they would stay over (after hours) to allow for a night dive. Is a night dive true night at 6PM, when it's dark or later around 8PM or 9PM? I'll e-mail them back and find out.

I figured the way she nags us, he would only have one or two hole punches... not anywhere close to the whole card.

I think the reason there might be only one or two hole punches is that she upgraded him to one with a UPC BARCODE and requires him to scan it for date/timestamp everytime he checks it in/out.
